Mike Todd, Founder

In 1974, I founded Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler with a simple goal: to become the best landscape irrigation company in the area. Over the years, we’ve grown significantly, installing and servicing thousands of irrigation systems. Today, we’re proud to be the preferred choice for homeowners, commercial property owners, and builders alike.

In 2022, I sold the company to my son, Paul, who now oversees the daily operations and continues to build on the values and standards that have guided Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler since the beginning.

Paul Todd, President/Owner

My role at Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler has evolved over the years—from laborer, to Irrigation installation Superintendent, to owner. At every stage, I have remained committed to the company’s founding goal of being the best landscape irrigation company in the area.

I purchased the company in 2022, and with my wife, Jen, we are proud to continue the Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler legacy as a company that is both great to work with and great to work for. As the owner, I bring extensive hands-on installation experience and advanced industry certifications to every project, ensuring automated irrigation systems are precisely designed and expertly installed to deliver long-term reliability, efficiency and performance.

Our focus is on high-quality workmanship, dependable systems, and a customer-first experience—providing irrigation solutions our clients can trust for years to come.

Jon “JJ” Busalacchi, Design/Sales

I have been designing irrigation systems for Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler since 2005 and oversee the majority of our residential system designs. My expertise spans single-family homes, condominiums, and large apartment complexes. I specialize in new system installations, system redesigns, and efficiency upgrades, creating irrigation solutions that promote long-term turf health, plant performance, and water efficiency. I also focus on designing systems that are user-friendly, incorporating smart, easy-to-use wifi controllers to simplify operation and provide precise, automated watering schedules. I work closely with clients and field technicians to ensure each system is thoughtfully engineered, easy to use, and performs reliably for years to come.

John Michels, Design/Sales

Since 2005, I have served as the lead designer for the majority of Milwaukee Lawn Sprinkler’s commercial irrigation installations. Over two decades in the industry, I have designed and overseen a wide variety of complex irrigation systems, including retail centers, industrial facilities, sports turf, green roofs and rooftop gardens, and large medical facilities.

My work encompasses every stage of the design and installation process, from conducting site assessments and creating detailed plans to estimating costs, bidding on large commercial projects, and coordinating with contractors to ensure timely completion. I pride myself on designing systems that are not only efficient and high-performing but also tailored to meet each client’s unique operational and aesthetic needs.

Through years of hands-on experience, I have developed a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver successful irrigation projects on time and on budget, combining technical knowledge with practical field insights to consistently achieve reliable results.

Tyson Mueller, Design/Sales

I bring over 30 years of hands-on experience in landscape architecture, construction, and project management to every irrigation project I work on. I’m dedicated to helping both residential and commercial clients protect and enhance their landscapes through efficient, well-designed irrigation systems. My designs focus on proper watering techniques and smart system layouts that keep landscapes healthy, attractive, and low-maintenance for years to come.

I believe clear communication and honest recommendations are just as important as technical expertise, and I take pride in designing irrigation systems that deliver long-term value, performance, durability, and sustainability.
